"that's the way to Milan boys!" |
AC Milan are set to sign Antonio Cassano from Sampdoria for a fee of half his buy-out clause of €4.2 million. The Italian striker is set to complete his move on the 3rd Januray 2011, as the transfer window has yet to open.
Cassano is mainly known for his short temper on the pitch, which led to him being labelled "Cassanta" by now England coach Fabio Capello back in 2002. He boasts a decent record in Italy with Sampdoria dating back to 2007, scoring 41 goals in 110 appearances.
As Cassano arrives into Milan he'll soon discover that it will be a 'battle of the egos' with Robinho, Ronaldinho & Ibrahimovic all battling it out for starting places.
